CSR Policy
The main objective of the CSR policy is to make CSR a key business process for the sustainable development of society. The company will act as a responsible corporate citizen and aims to supplement the role of the government in enhancing welfare measures for society within the framework of its policy.
The company’s CSR policy is in line with the broad scope laid down in Schedule VII of the Act and has been duly approved by the Board of Directors. The policy includes the following activities:
- Education for all sections
- Women empowerment
- Combating health-related issues, including human immunodeficiency virus, COVID–19, and other diseases
- Social business projects
- Disaster relief measures
- Rural development projects
- All other projects can form part of CSR activities.
The Board has decided to implement CSR activities through an implementing agency, a trust by the name “Smt. Poppy Educational & Charitable Trust,” which is a registered trust under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and the rules thereunder. The trust has also been registered with the MCA under Regd. No. AACTP0684MF20211.
